Socket Mobile TouchPoint brings Near Field Communication (NFC) as a Bluetooth Low Energy connected peripheral to your iPhone or iPad with all the features the iOS ecosystem has to offer. This TouchPoint Getting Started App implements the User Interface and connectivity to read NFC SmartCards, NFC stickers, and RFID Tags with TouchPoint.
The App displays the Card ID and Card Type, maintains a history of cards read, and manages the Bluetooth Low Energy Connection to TouchPoint. The App also logs Bluetooth communication with TouchPoint – useful to diagnose a complex configuration.
This easy-to-use App requires no NFC/RFID experience and provides just the basics to get you started with a working Near Field Communication system.

Version 1.3.30
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
The theme for this release is to demonstrate what one Beacon can do. So a Beacon Settings Screen is added to configure the "local" Beacon in the TouchPoint Stand to interact with this App. The user specifies the UUID and Major/Minor for the selected iBeacon along with the desired notification interval (10 sec min / hourly max) and the Event trigger (At Beacon, Near Beacon, In Range, Out of Range). Then the Beacon can trigger the following Foreground and Background Actions:
Foreground Action (select one)
1. Open Website
2. Proximity Demo
3. Show Picture (selected form your Photo’s)
4. None
Background Actions (select one from each)
1. Issue Notification (Yes/No)
